Holding onto this raft after it had served it's purpose would be very heavy and not easy to lug around. In many cases we can make the mistake of holding on to many things that no longer serve us. Like, fear, anger, being too guarded when not necessary.
Sometimes we can hold on much too long to a time that has passed and not embrace the fact the what was once is no longer. Attachment can be very much like a sickness we can make ourselves sick being attached to something or even someone that no longer serves you.
If you would like to have a reading with me I do help many people in finding where unhealthy attachments are coming from and we can dig into everything and heal from these that no longer serve you.
Sometimes we have them and don't even realize it.
When we have unhealthy attachments the root of the issue can be a number of different possibilities such as past life karma, generational karma , dark energy or dark mindedness or even unbalanced chakras just to name a few. These can vary greatly from one person to another this is why it is always best to reach out to me directly and we can have a one on one consultation and work on freeing you up from any toxic energy that has been holding you back.
If you are struggling with attachment to someone or something, here are some steps you can take to help you let go and move on:
Recognize and accept your attachment: The first step to letting go of attachment is to acknowledge that it exists. Understand that attachment is a normal part of human nature, and it's okay to feel attached to someone or something.
Identify the source of your attachment: Try to identify what is causing your attachment. Is it a person, a material possession, a certain situation or experience? Understanding the root cause of your attachment can help you better understand and address it.
Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness is a practice that involves being present in the moment and accepting your thoughts and feelings without judgment. By practicing mindfulness, you can become more aware of your attachment and learn to observe it without becoming overwhelmed by it.
Focus on personal growth: Focusing on your own personal growth and development can help shift your focus away from your attachment. Set goals for yourself and work towards achieving them, take up a new hobby or learn a new skill.
Seek support: Talk to a trusted friend or family member, or consider seeking professional help if you are struggling to let go of your attachment. A therapist can help you work through your emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Remember that letting go of attachment takes time and effort. Be patient with yourself and celebrate small victories along the way. With persistence and determination, you can overcome attachment and find peace and happiness within yourself.
